The Season one, shot in August 2009 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, was premiered in December 2009 and ran through the January of 2010. The MTV Jersey Shore show kicked off with all the housemates met each other at Seaside Heights visiting to spend their summer vacations together.

On the other hand, the boys were planning on how to hook up with as many girls as possible. Then the cast headed to Atlantic City and friction developed between Mike and Snooki and J-Woww. The night at Kings Jersey the club turned into a fight again which got Ronnie arrested this time, who is released later. Meanwhile, Snooki had another emotional episode, this time with her ex-boyfriend and everyone comforted her. As the season came to an end, there was a last hot tub session and finale in which the cast discussed what happened during the summer.
